Our single vineyard Merlot captures the uniqueness of this variety. Planted in one of the warmer areas and cropped at low yields to ensure full ripeness, the wine displays toasty, nutty characters on the nose whilst the palate is the traditional Merlot “fruit cake” of rich blackcurrant, blackberry and stewed plums. The finish is long with smooth structured tannins and toasty oak characters.
